The integrated 3.5in TFT panel is controlled by an embedded PIC24FJ256DA210 microcontroller, which includes a built-in graphics controller.
The TFT features a wide viewing angle, an energy saving long-life LED backlight and with 320×240 resolution (QVGA) is capable of displaying bright eye-catching images.
It has been designed to be easily integrated into existing products and is robust enough for use in demanding environments, making it suitable for a range of industrial applications.
The TFT comes with USB and PICKit interfaces for connecting to a microchip environment. Example firmware is downloadable through Microchip MPLab environment for easy programming, significantly reducing development time and costs.
Available in sizes ranging from 2.8in to 7in, the product comes as standard with an embedded microcontroller board (76.2 x 90mm) which either can be used off the shelf or can be adapted to meet your exact requirements using GPEG’s growing library of reference designs.
The microcontroller board includes external SRAM as well as 2MB of SPI flash for storing fonts and images.
