Wilson Process Systems (WPS), is participating in the Southern Manufacturing show to promote its new large format surface mount manufacturing facilities for PCBs up to 1300 x 500 cm. Visitors to the WPS stand can discuss manufacturing requirements with experts offering in excess of 100 years UK production experience.

The new WPS surface mount line can manufacture boards up to 1300 x 500 cm, for any application including the growing opportunity in commercial lighting, retail displays, LED lighting and digital signage. It is the first line in the country that can manufacture such long boards fully automatically, including the critical screen printing stage. The line can also be used to manufacture boards of more standard dimensions. Q1 2015 will see WPS bring on-line an additional Fuzion XC2-60 placement platform, increasing the number of surface mount lines to 5 and a combined optimal capacity of over 200,000 components per hour.
Southern Manufacturing is the UK’s largest exhibition for electronics production, sourcing and subcontracting, providing the first opportunity for professionals in the UK electronics industry to source new services, components, technology and equipment in 2015.
