Deltron Enclosures unveils its new series of heavy duty industrial enclosures, certified to IP68, making them ideal for harsh environments and deep water applications.
These waterproof enclosures have all the benefits you would expect from a heavy duty enclosure, and also boast many unique design features such as an innovative lid design and distinctive mounting holes.
Increased performance in wet and underwater applications
The new heavy duty series boasts a unique sealing mechanism developed to ensure maximum seal face and minimum exposure meets IP66 and IP68, for protection against jets of water and continuous submersion for depths of 10 metres for up to 20 hours. The innovative lid design encloses the silicone seal well inside the box and allows for excellent EMI/RFI screening of the enclosure, whilst the integral mounting holes allow the user to conceal the mounting bolts within the enclosure, therefore keeping the entire inside of the box free for assembly.
Wide range of features and accessories
The optimum free space inside the box allows for numerous mounting options within the enclosure including DIN Rail mount and studs, all of which are easily removable to optimise internal space, and available with accessories for all applications including DIN rail, earth cable and base plates. These robust enclosures also contain discreet, but extremely functional card guides for mounting PCBs, and feature earth fixing points in the lid and base.
Available in 8 new sizes, these enclosures can be fully customised to your exact requirements.
