A new connector box has been released by HellermannTyton. The company’s HTCB+ is designed to meet the latest 17th edition wiring regulations as well as being quick and easy to use, the box also offers many benefits for electrical wholesalers.

Made from thermo plastic (polypropylene) the enclosure can be used as a junction box for fixed wiring applications with the company’s cable restraints, which are also supplied with the kit. It can also be used as an in-line connector for terminating solid/stranded cable to flexible cable.

The product comes as a complete, neat package and key features include serrated edge cable grips situated on the outside of the box for ease of installation while at the same time meeting regulation requirements. A tapered pin allows for easy location of the connector strip within the housing.

The package comprises one connector box enclosure measuring 109mm x 52mm x 28mm, two cable restraints with four screws (packed separately) and screws for the box lid. Terminal connector strips are manufactured from polyethylene (800 C) and are supplied in 5, 15 and 30 amp.
