Midas EMC – We will be promoting a range of UK manufactured filtered circular connectors alongside our full range of EMI filtered connectors, which are completely intermateable with standard Mil spec connectors such as Mil-DTL-38999, Mil-DTL-50-15, Mil-DTL-55116, and Mil-DTL-83723
The filters used within our connectors are all manufactured in-house which allows us to offer custom solutions quickly and easily when compared to competition who have to use third party filter manufacturers.
We will also be exhibiting our Mini-Mil connector. Ideal for applications where weight and space is a premium, the Mini-Mil is an excellent alternative to the larger and heavier 38999 range. The range includes configurations such as unfiltered, filtered (pi, C, or mixed capacitance values) and various receptacle options.
Another exciting addition to our portfolio is the composite shell connector. These are fabricated from high grade thermoplastic and are designed to replace traditional metal connector shells, thereby offering substantial weight reduction. These composite shell connectors offer fit, form, and function replacement to standard connectors and are ideal for Aerospace applications where every milligram is of importance.
Our Rapid Mate connectors provide the ease and reliability of hot-shoe style mating with the added benefit of integral filtering. Rapid Mate connectors offer mating via spring loaded compliant contacts. This method provides rapid connection with low mating force and allows for some misalignment during mating. These contacts also provide positive mating force to ensure reliable connection. They are ideal for Military and Commercial communication systems as well as electronic docking station applications.

Midas Sensors – Products on show included ultrasonic transmitters, receivers, transceivers, underwater transducers, matching transformers, ranging ICs, ranging modules, ultrasonic atomisers, micro nozzle atomisers, piezo film sensors, and patch antennas.
The ultrasonic sensor range are suitable for applications requiring open sensors for low cost measuring, enclosed sensors for harsh environmental projects, high frequency types for narrow beam and high accuracy measurement. Centre frequencies range from 25KHz to 320KHz, and case diameters range from 8mm to 90mm. The ranging ICs and modules are perfect for evaluation, development, and low-mid volume production requirements.
These sensor products have very specific applications including anemometers, distance/height measurement, nebulisers, automotive, detection, fire and security, gas detection, medical, military, and robotics.
The patch antenna products are high quality and ideal for mission critical applications including GPS, vehicle tracking, and military use. Variants are available for applications requiring Globalstar, GPS, Inmarsat, Iridium, ISM, and Satellite Radio
