A new industrial connector hood with a geometry that allows a wide range of cable sizes with flexible handling has been added by Harting to its Han B industrial connector range.
The shape of the housing enables implementation of a cable gland up to M50 in size 16B, which exceeds the maximum previously available. This allows the cable outlet to be on the side or at the top. Locking of the new housing is enabled by using the company’s Han-Easy Lock levers, which feature a low actuating force.
A version with an M40 cable entry is also available. The design of this product allows a large wiring space, which in turn ensures simplified, faster and consequently more economical installation for the customer. When the new hood is used with the company’s Han B bottom housing, IP 65 protection is achieved.
