Truly versatile, the Semitec JT thermistor at only 0.5mm at its sensing tip makes it amongst the thinnest flexible NTC available world-wide, and therefore intrinsically suitable for many wearable medical applications, heat detectors, CPU/IC, E-V applications and battery packs.
Suitable for both air and surface temperature monitoring- the sensing element is protected/laminated between two polymer layers making it both flexible and resilient.
This flexibility allows the JT’s sensor to be placed close to the heat source and in many space-sensitive applications helping to deliver optimum temperature control.
They have an extremely fast thermal response time, with temperature ranges between -50°C and 125°C.
For ease of manufacture these are available in lengths from 25mm to 100mm, and have R25 values of 10kΩ and 100kΩ, with 1% tolerances as standard.
The Semitec JT is also available as a complete temperature sensor assembly (Semitec STS4) and forms part of an extensive range of thermal components and protection devices available from ATC Semitec
