Originally developed by its parent company Stabilus for the automotive sector, POWERISE has achieved sales in excess of 50 million units proving a simple but effective way of raising and lowering car boots/tailgates.
These new Industrial POWERISE units – IPR35 and IPR40 – are now available to bring easy and automatic opening and closing in endless applications in the home, office and factory to commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment, medical technology, caravans and trailers.

Every industrial application is different. Industrial POWERISE offers a range of options even in the standard variants: different combinations – including of spindle pitch, force, stroke and speed; external or internal control units; graduated communication options up to a CAN bus interface.
The units come complete with a control unit, control elements, a limit switch and a power supply unit and they can be paired with our standard gas springs for managing heavy applications with a lightweight drive.
