A new all-purpose plastic enclosure has been released by FIBOX for indoor and outdoor applications. The ARCA series features14 sizes ranging from 200 by 300 
by 150 mm to 800 by 600 by 300 mm.
The enclosures are made of glass-fiber reinforced polycarbonate and feature a PUR injection foam seal that can withstand prolonged temperatures from -40 °C to 80°C.
The company has added an additional silicone gasket to increase the tolerance to 120°C. These light-weight, corrosion-resistant ARCA enclosures can be customised easily, quickly, and without special tools. They are an ideal alternative to sheet steel enclosures.
Featuring IK10 impact resistance, the enclosures are vandalism-proof. Roof and inner frame are designed to let water drain externally. Accessories include a rain/snow hood. The enclosures have IP66/IP67 ingress protection (NEMA/UL 3, 3R, 3S, 4, 4 by, 12, 12K, 13) and an excellent UL94 V-0, 5VA flammability rating. For added protection, the company even guarantees the material’s UV resistance for eight years. An additional special paint coat extends the guarantee to 18 years.
