A new series of patented door enclosures have been introduced by Hylec-APL. Manufactured by the company’s UK based manufacturing division, DE Controls, the robust enclosures feature IP65 protection, galvanised steel back plates and mounting brackets.
The units are constructed from flameproof material and can be used in a wide variety of internal and external applications.
The range of door enclosures also includes door locks as standard and meets protection and combustible standards IP65 and IK08. The robust construction makes them suitable for use in external environments, including locations where they will be exposed to salty sea air.
The enclosures have a wall thickness of between 3-3.5mm which provides a good level of protection from impact damage that is not catered for by other manufacturers designs.
There are eight sizes available with dimensions ranging from 200 by 300 by 130mm to 500 by 700 by 250mm; each comes with a pre-assembled galvanised steel back plate, wall mounting brackets and one or two locks.
