The recently introduced Binder M12 power connectors are now available in rear panel mount versions with an M16 fixing thread that makes them ideal for AC motor controls and power supplies. 13.5mm anti-torsion flats are incorporated on the mounting side of the body and these new versions that complement the existing front mounted panel versions, are pre-terminated with single 200mm long, 1.5mm2 (AWG 16) wires.
The nickel-plated brass body houses gold-plated contacts and features an M16 x 1.5mm fixing thread for either direct mounting to a threaded hole in a panel or with a hex nut. Male and female versions are available with four poles (three plus pre-engaging earth), and are rated for AC at 12A and 630V. The integral O-ring ensures protection to IP67 when mated.
