Advanced Rework Technology Ltd. (A.R.T.) is celebrating two honours at the 2026 Instrumentation and Electronics Industry Awards. Managing Director Debbie McDade won the Electronics Personality of the Year Award, while the company was Highly Commended in the Academic Support & Training category.
The results follow A.R.T.’s shortlisting in three categories, including the Best Customer Service Award, which recognises its contribution to professional training, customer support and the wider electronics industry.
Debbie McDade said: “It is a great honour to receive the Electronics Industry Personality Award, and I would like to thank everyone who voted for me. Through training and my work with IPC, I have had the opportunity to work with and learn from many talented people across the industry, which makes this recognition particularly special.
“I am also delighted that A.R.T. was Highly Commended for Academic Support & Training. Our team puts a great deal of work into helping customers develop their skills and resolve practical manufacturing problems. It is a pleasure to see that work recognised. Thank you to everyone who voted for us and supported us.”
Alongside her role leading A.R.T., Debbie holds leadership positions within IPC standards development and training committees, helping shape the standards used throughout electronics manufacturing. As a Master IPC Trainer, she combines this work with practical training and technical support for manufacturers. She also supports the next generation of industry professionals by mentoring in the IPC Emerging Engineer Programme.
The Highly Commended recognition reflects the work of A.R.T.’s training team, which delivers the complete range of accredited IPC training programmes at every level, alongside bespoke electronics courses designed around customers’ products, processes and workforce requirements.
Alongside training, the company also provides consultancy, inspection and verification services, and audit preparation, working closely with customers to address specific manufacturing requirements.
