TRaC Global, the UKAS accredited leading testing and certification group, will be in Manchester on 27th March for the first of its 2015 EMC and safety seminars scheduled in key UK locations.

To be held at Manchester City FC, Etihad Stadium, the seminar will cover vital issues for companies considering exporting existing products to new markets or those with new products currently in the design process. Issues being explored on the day will include how to take your products global, both to Europe or the rest of the world, as well as a specific look at what to consider if planning to import products into North America. Other key testing and approval topics being discussed include CE Marking and Associated Directives, common approaches and pitfalls to the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) qualification and how to safely navigate the Low Voltage Directive (LVD).

Mark Heaven, CEO at TRaC Global explained: “Many businesses need to look abroad for continued growth but ensuring products comply with international market requirements – which vary from country to country and are usually product dependent – can seem overwhelming. Every year TRaC tests over 2,500 products, helping businesses achieve compliance quickly and cost effectively to enable them to access new territories. We understand the challenges that UK companies face when looking to expand and export to new markets and are able to guide and advise them through the whole process.”
