Testing and certification group, TRaC Global, will host the Testing and Global Approvals Conference on Friday, 5th September 2014 at Oxfordshire’s Williams Conference Centre, home of the Williams F1 team.
The event covers a range of sessions from EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) and Safety, to Environmental Testing as well as Global Certification and Approvals. Taking a fresh look at the issues which are high on the agenda for many engineering and development managers, this conference will focus on current design and legislation and how this applies to UK companies looking to extend their horizons into Europe or the rest of the world.
“With exporting comes a raft of challenges which need to be met,” Mark Heaven, CEO at TRaC Global explained. “Global market requirements can be very complex as they are usually product dependent for each country. Ensuring products comply with these international market requirements can be a daunting and complex task, but TRaC is well placed to speed up customers’ validation and certification process to allow access to new territories and the ability to export to more than 140 countries.
“Rather than requiring advanced technical content and micro detail, we know that many companies are actually looking for reassurance in what they are currently doing. TRaC will present strategies drawn from our extensive testing experience to help attendees understand how to achieve compliance and reach new markets.”
Attendees will also be able to select one of four more specialist sessions. These cover medical devices, defence, explosive atmospheres or vibration testing for product reliability. The agenda for the day is as follows:
