Director of China Britain Business Council Graham Curren attends prestigious UK-China business dinner at the Natural History Museum
Theale, UK – July 2014…Graham Curren, CEO of Sondrel, one of the world’s leading system-to-silicon IC design consultancies, met Chinese Premier Li Kequiang at a glittering gala dinner for 650 guests at the Natural History Museum in London on June 24. The UK-China Business Dinner was held in honour of Premier Li’s visit to the UK accompanied by a large delegation of his ministers and SOE chairmen.
The China-Britain Business Council played a prominent role over the three days of Premier Li’s official visit, working with partners and stakeholders from the UK and Chinese governments to support a number of events. Guests at the dinner heard welcome speeches from CBBC Chairman Lord Sassoon and China’s Commerce Minister Gao Hucheng, as well as the keynote addresses from Premier Li Kequiang and UK Chancellor George Osborne.

Following the office trade visit, the UK Department of Trade & Investment announced that £14 billion of trade and investment deals have been signed between UK and Chinese firms.
