The popular BA9 bulb replacement from Oxley Developments has been re-designed, incorporating the latest surface mount technology to improve performance and expand capability.
The updated lamps are now able to achieve required intensity levels whilst avoiding the ‘hot spot’ issues and the inconsistencies in the spread of light which were inherent in discrete flat topped LEDs.
The new improved BA9 boasts increased intensity, uniform colour, even illumination and sealing to IP66. The improved product offers an increase in reliability; particularly at the higher end of the voltage range, 60vdc/vac.
The new design has resulted in a product with superior performance, ease of assembly due to a reduction in overall length and a wider range of potential applications. Changing to surface mount technology has strengthened the product offering by delivering improved overall product performance.
