Connector specialist ODU has added a new elegant plastic housing in ‘medical white’ to its existing ODU-MAC modular rectangular connector range.
The new MEDI-FLEX series is ideally suited for applications in medical technology with its high performance demands.
The two-piece hood is non-magnetic and guarantees trouble-free function in equipment reconfiguration scenarios, such as in the use of imaging equipment, together with an ingress protection rating of IP54.
The convenient central spindle-locking of the MEDI-FLEX connector provides optical as well as tactile response for a clear locking state, with over 30,000 mating cycles.
Various non-magnetic contacts like RX/TX coax and signals can be combined, offering the ultimate in versatility – tailor-made solutions at standard connector prices – and all this is possible in relatively small quantities.
