The execution of programme code in one Flash partition and simultaneous programming of the other partition enables Microchip’s PIC24F “GB6” 16-bit MCUs to support cost-effective Live Updates for ‘always-on’ applications.
In addition to up to 1 MB of Dual-Partition Flash, these MCUs offer 32 KB of RAM, and robust analog and serial communication peripherals including USB On-The-Go. There are also Core Independent Peripherals to provide real-time logic control and faster throughput as well as power-saving features for longer battery life.
