Now in its 8th year and firmly established as the UK’s leading event for small and ultra precision technology, the Micro Nano MEMS exhibition will return to the NEC, Birmingham from 28th – 29th September 2016.
Featuring a wide range of exhibitors showcasing the very latest technologies and solutions, the event will provide design engineers with the information and knowledge required to optimise micro and nano manufacturing opportunities in this fast developing field.
Organised by Datateam Business Media, home to the Connecting Industry portfolio of 12 leading industrial magazines, websites and associated social media channels, the event offers visitors a one-stop-shop for small and ultra-precision process technology. From laser micro-machining through to micro injection moulding, and from MEMS fabrication, through to assembly, inspection and test equipment, it really does cover the full spectrum of technologies.
The Innovation Showcase feature was launched last year and was such a hit that it is to be expanded in 2016 to include even more exhibits and live demonstrations. Connecting Industry’s managing editor, Neil Mead was instrumental in its launch and is looking forward to developing it further this time: “We will actively encourage exhibitors wherever possible to feature technology demonstrations, allowing visitors to compare and contrast in a live environment,” he says.
The Micro Nano MEMS seminar programme is characterised by high quality presentations from leading users of the technologies and industry commentators from across the globe.

Oxford Lasers, which designs and manufactures high speed imaging systems for particle, droplet and bubble size measurement, as well as micro machining systems.
