Laird Connectivity looks to expand its CMD series of indoor antennas with a 5G/CBRS-ready ceiling mount antenna. Referred to as the CMD69423P, it’s a two-port MIMO, omnidirectional, operating between 698-960MHz and 1300-4200MHz. Designed for components that are linear, vertical and horizontal and optimised for a specifically-shaped pattern, Laird Connectivity aims to provide a reliable and robust technical performance, applicable to environments ranging from business offices to retail malls and medical facilities.
“The CMD69423P’s multi-port functionality saves time and money, as fewer antennas are needed to provide coverage and throughput,” said Gordon Barber, Laird Connectivity’s director of product management: “This is because the antenna has been designed for robust radiation performance, including coverage and low correlation between ports.”
