Power Conversion Technology offers a very diverse range of power supplies from 20W through to 400W from the highly experienced Taiwanese manufacturer, Magic Power Technology. These models include both industrial and medically approved units meeting EN60601 in a wide variety of formats from open frame, U channel and desktop. The extensive range of Fanless ATX Power Supplies is second to none.
One of the newest models is the MPE-S040 series, this highly compact 40W power supply can deliver full power at 50C with no fan cooling and continue to operate at 70C. This low profile model measures only 2” x 3” and has a no-load power consumption of less than 0.3W.
Equally as efficient is the new 100W convection cooled MPM-S100 medically approved open frame power supply in a 2” x 4” footprint. Meeting IEC/EN 60601-1 3rd edition class BF for direct patient contact capability and it has an option of Class 1 functional ground. Available with 12, 24 and 48V outputs, the MPM-S100 can deliver 115W with fan cooling at 50C due to its high efficiency of 90%.
No-load power consumption is less than 0.5W and earth leakage current under 100 micro amps.
Fanless ATX Power Supplies are available in the range of 60W through to 220W all in 1U format. With full ATX functionality including power good and remote on/off features, models are available for use in industrial and IT applications as well as medical equipment. The MPM range is approved to EN 60601 and is fully compliant with all international standards. The thermally efficient U channel design provides that equipment designer with many mounting options. Standard and custom ATX output cable looms are also available.
If you are looking for DC input power supplies, the new MPD-F113 series offers power outputs of 110W with fan cooling and 70W convection with DC input options from 9V through to 120VDC in a compact 2” x 5” format and due to its low profile can be used in 1U chassis applications. Outputs are fully isolated and all models feature inrush current reduction.
For Desktop Adapters the range includes both IT/Industrial and Medically approved models.
Output powers range from 20W to 150W and again are certified for worldwide use. Most models feature Active PFC to meet EN 61000-3-2 and have a very wide range of output voltage configurations from 5V to 54V. Custom models are available and output connector options make this range very flexible.
