Introducing the TH-12CPS Hot melt glue sensor from Panasonic, for quick, reliable, non-contact detection of hot melt glue.
Comprising of a separate sensor head and controller, which allows a small sensor head of W18 x H33 x D22mm for mounting in crowded or tight spaces.
Glue can be detected from a distance of up to 300mm away and a visible red alignment beam spot allows easy installation to the target surface.
High speed detection of 1ms is also available for fast moving targets and eight sensitivity settings can be stored for smooth product changeover. For high speed production lines giving short detection output pulses from the sensor the output signal can be extended by means of a 40ms off delay timer.
Three function settings are available for the following types of glue sensing applications:
· Inspection of glue quantity
· Presence/absence of glue
· Length of hot melt bead applied to surface.
