Inelco Hunter is excited to announce the availability of the new Powertip 8″ high-resolution, high-brightness displays, which uniquely feature an optional capacitive touch panel.
This means that the many features (including high-resolution) can be accessed cost-effectively for applications that do not require a touch facility. For example, industrial machinery and scientific devices where only status indication is required.
Potential uses requiring a touch panel include (but are not limited to) manufacturing automation, industrial control, transport, smart home control, portable devices, and medical and scientific equipment.
These 8” displays deliver clear content featuring a high-resolution 1024 * 3 (RGB) * 600 Dots screen. The a-Si TFT display is normally white, with a high brightness up to 420 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 600:1 when in operation.
The products feature an LVDS I2C interface and an operating temperature of -20°C to +70°C. The lifetime is up to 20,000 hours (25°C, IF= 200mA). The Capacitive Touch IC is Goodix GT928.
