A range of new innovations will grace the stand of Syfer Technology as the company exhibits its new products and showcases a line-up of interesting solutions. Space saving chip capacitors and EMI filters will be part of the company’s key product showcase.
The worldwide launch of the company’s latest new product family of large-size high voltage X7R Multilayer Chip Capacitors (MLCCs), will also take place.
The StackiCap, are X7R devices that are said to dramatically increase the maximum capacitance values now possible in larger case sizes, thereby delivering the potential to significantly reduce space taken on the PCB.
The company has developed a technique to reduce electromechanical stresses in the body of the component, allowing for the consistent and reliable volume production of thicker and larger size devices.
The first parts to be available in the device family are the 1812 and 2220 case sizes, with 200V to 1kV and 500 to 3kV operating voltage ranges.
The devices are expected to appeal to designers of any high voltage products where space is at a premium and maximum capacitance is required. Typical applications include power supplies, projector modules, lighting systems and throughout the aerospace sector.
