The Nordson DAGE Quadra 7 X-Ray is the head of the line for finding those hidden problems. With a feature recognition capability down to one hundred nanometres, even at full power, and a flat panel detector to 4K display chain, with 6.7 Mpixel definition, we can find almost any failure.
Designed for NPI, failure analysis and production batch inspection the Quadra series is manufactured in the UK specifically for the inspection of electronic components and assemblies. Specialist options are included that let you cross section assemblies without cutting them, perform full CT and even watch solder as it melts and voids form.
Once your board is on the production line we have your quality covered with our AOI range. If you are looking for chip scale inspection, 3D in line, double sided PTH or conformal coat inspection we have a system that can handle it. The Nordson YESTECH 940 Ultra can resolve height defects on a board assembly down to plus / minus 5 microns and can compensate for the height of larger components, with clearance up to 50mm.
Picking up in other production areas, Nordson Matrix from Munich provides fully in line X-Ray systems for the detection of hidden faults on circuit board production through to finished assemblies. These systems provide easy to use techniques for finding faults, like head in pillow, at production speeds or for finding incorrect component parts within an assembly. Using a combination of 2D, 2.5D and 3D analysis multi layered structures are easily analysed.
