A range of new enclosures that can be easily mounted to a wall, control panel, machine housing or bulkhead have been released by Teko.
The new Tekal-E enclosures feature special end panels with integrated mounting flanges. These are designed to allow the unit to be mounted without the need to open the enclosure or disturb the electronics.
The enclosures consist of an extruded case section and two tough flanged ABS end panels, which are mounted by self-tapping screws. The case extrusion is painted with fine texture powder paint in either off-white RAL 9002 or black RAL 9004. The matching end panels are light grey RAL 9018 and dark grey RAL 7012.
The case section features internal guide rails for mounting slide-in PCBs, and recessed areas on the top and bottom can be used for mounting membrane keypads or product labels. The end panels are also recessed for keypads or to protect the connectors and switches.
The range consists of 30 individual models with external dimensions from 70 by 60 by 31 mm to 175 by 106 by 46 mm. Twelve models are offered with a battery compartment for 1.5V AA or 9V cells.
The company can supply the new enclosures fully customised with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors and controls, plus silk-screen printed legends and logos.
