14 June 2024 – The important role of robotics and systems integration in driving business growth will be highlighted by Epson at Automation UK – the leading show for businesses operating in the automation and robotics markets.
Among the technologies highlighted at the Coventry Building Society Arena, June 18 and 19, on Stand C10, will be a mobile phone demonstration with the Epson VT6-L – Epson’s first ever 6-axis robot with built-in controller. The entry-level, space-saving system handles payloads of up to 6kg, with a range of 900mm.
Tool changing will be demonstrated by the affordable, compact and versatile SCARA LS6-B602S robot – designed for activities where workspace is at a premium. It can handle a maximum payload of 6kg and has a range of 600m. It is versatile and flexible making it ideal for pick and place, assembly, palletising, inspection, and polishing.
Ease of use is aided by Epson Vision Guide. It is fully integrated within the Epson RC+ development environment for easy configuration and calibration as well as fast development and simplified maintenance. It has a point-and-click interface that makes it simple for users of all levels and features wizards and auto calibration methods, plus a combination robot/vision simulator for rapid offline testing.
