element14, an Avnet community will host two free to attend, hour long webinars in June aimed at engineers, developers and technical professionals who are looking to keep up with industry advancements and practical tools for system performance and reliability.
The first webinar, will be hosted in collaboration with Analog Devices on 4 June from 3:00pm until 4:00pm GMT. Titled “AI-Enabled predictive maintenance with Voyager4”, the expert-led session will explore next generation sensor monitoring of key industrial-equipment parameters. Demos utilising ultra low power, high bandwidth, 3-axis MEMS vibration sensors, a Bluetooth low energy (BLE) radio and an AI-enabled microcontroller, all working together in a condition-based monitoring application at the sensor edge that delivers insights and improved battery life. The focus of the webinar will be, how AI is changing condition-based monitoring and enabling new insights and be followed by a chance to ask the hosts any questions.
The second session, “Analysing jitter and eye diagrams for enhanced signal integrity” on 26 June from 4:00pm until 5:00pm GMT will cover a primer on how to understand eye diagrams, how to identify and analyse jitter and jitter sources, how to use tools like Time Interval Error (TIE) trends to avoid timing errors and using histograms to pinpoint and dress the route causes of signal degradation. The webinar will also be followed by a question and answer session with the host, Gary Simonton.
Global director of product marketing and element14 Community has said, “We’re excited to provide engineers with practical insights from industry leaders and the opportunity to explore cutting-edge applications of AI and signal analysis that are driving the future of electronics design and system reliability.”
