Powersolve has announced the TEP150WI Series of high performance DC/DC converter modules that provide up to 150W from a wide input voltage range. Designed for harsh environments, the modules feature high immunity against surge, burst, radiated and conducted disturbances as well as high resistance to shock and vibration and a very wide operating temperature range. The modules are approved to EN50155 which allows them to be used in railway applications.
Featuring an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range (Up to 160VDC) and efficiency levels approaching 90%, TEP150WI modules offer output voltages ranging from 12 to 48VDC. There are 15 models in the range and all offer protection against over-temperature, overload, short-circuit, reverse input and overvoltage. At 100% load, the current characteristic switches from constant voltage to constant current making the modules suitable for battery charging applications.
Housed in a rugged, sealed, compact chassis or wall-mount metal case, the modules have an operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C. Connection is by screw terminals.
