Our new range of character OLED display modules are designed to be 100% compatible with many of today’s industry standard chip-on-board character LCD modules allowing for an easy upgrade to OLED and its superior technology. With an on-board driver compatible with the original Hitachi HD44780 the OLED module can be quickly and easily swapped into your application.
The range starts with an 8-character x 2-line module and includes four different 16 x 2 modules plus 16 x 4, 20 x 2, 20 x 4 and 40 x 2 modules all available in either white or yellow. Our OLED display modules offer a superior optical performance over STN/FSTN LCD due to their high brightness (100cd/m²), high contrast ratio (10,000:1) and a ultra-wide viewing angle of 180°. Plus with a superfast response time of =10µs and an extremely wide operating temperature of -40 ~ 80°C, OLED has a clear advantage over traditional LCD modules.
