1 medium Complete family of Fujitsu mainboards supporting future Intel MicroarchitectureA new family of mainboards from Fujitsu is supporting next generation Intel microarchitecture with LGA 1151 sockets. Distributor Rutronik will offer the mainboards as soon as they are launched by fall/ winter 2015.

Manufactured in 14-nanometer technology, the processors with LGA 1151 sockets will fit into Fujitsu mainboards with the form factors ATX, µATX, and mini-ITX. Intel announces the introduction of the new microarchitecture code named Skylake for fall 2015. With Fujitsu being part of the Intel platform validation program, the market launch of their products is timed to coincide with the official Intel product launch.

The new mainboards will be offered in the Classic Desktop Series, Extended Lifecycle Series, and the Industrial Series. The boards in the Industrial Series are specifically developed for embedded applications. Thanks to various form factors and chipsets, the boards meet all requirements of the customers regarding manageability, scalability, and functionality. Therefore, users can obtain high-quality mainboards in all form factors from a single manufacturer. Thanks to Fujitsu’s basic layout of industrial mainboards remaining the same over several generations, embedded developers do not have to change their system design when a new board replaces the preceding one.
