Charcroft Electronics – a specialist distributor and manufacturer of components for harsh and high-end applications– has announced that Debbie Rowland and Ian Ford have been promoted from their existing management roles and appointed as directors of Charcroft Electronics.
Debbie Rowland has been with Charcroft for over 22 years, initially joining the company as a sales assistant. After a number of successful subsequent roles she was promoted to sales manager in 2005. Ian Ford joined Charcroft in 2010 from TT Electronics European Components Group, and initially worked as Charcroft’s purchasing manager before being promoted to commercial manager in 2014.
“Continuity and consistency have always been important to Charcroft and to our customers,” explained Paul Newman, managing director. “The promotion of Debbie and Ian to the Board of Directors will ensure that we continue to maintain our focus on specialist products and support for OEMs and CEMs working in harsh and high-end applications.”
Debbie has a long and encyclopaedic knowledge of Charcroft’s products and customers, whilst Ian brings years of experience of working for major, global passive-component manufacturers. These strengths enable Charcroft to take a balanced perspective on issues which affect the sourcing of components for new designs and legacy designs.
Both will continue to fulfil their existing roles as front-line managers, helping to drive Charcroft’s model of technical selling across its range of passives and optoelectronics, power supplies and electromechanical components.
