6 medium andersDX opens new London HQ and solutions clinicDisplay interface specialist andersDX has announced the opening of its new and enhanced, state of the art London Headquarters in Camden. The new location, keeps the company in the heart of Camden and at the centre of an ever growing high tech area, offering expanded demonstration facilities, for our existing technologies, with a new Solutions Clinic, an enlarged engineering lab, plus a new state of the artDigital Signage Showroom in conjunction with Philips Signage Solutions and the Tiny Green PC Company.

Commenting, Paul Mullen, sales and marketing director of andersDX, said, “Seeing is believing with display technology. At our new Solutions Clinic we can show customers new exciting technologies and review their current display-based projects. We can help optimise size, power consumption or cost, whilst enhancing performance and appearance. We can also build bespoke demonstrations in our new engineering lab and take them to our customers’ premises. We can load the customer’s application onto the demos, allowing them to see for themselves exactly how their project will look on the different screens that are available. We can then take the next step and using our Rapid Prototyping capabilities to quickly take the preferred display and processor forward to a working prototype that the customer can present for their internal review.”

Paul Mullen continued, “Anders has been based at its current location for over 50 years. The building served us extremely well, but we have outgrown what was a traditional building and now have the opportunity to move to accommodation that fully reflects the business we have become and addresses the needs of our customers, our partners and our staff today and in the future.” He added, “Digital signage and education are just two of the new markets that we now have a strong offering for, and the new premises strengthens our ability to support them.

The new HQ contains a demonstration area for digital signage solutions, showcasing the andersDX Pi MediaPlayer, a low cost, high end, professional based player, alongside the portfolio of x86 and ARM based PCs. The players can be connected to a range of screens and displays in the demonstration area to review suitability for specific projects. The expanded Showroom will also be used by Philips Signage solutions as their London Demo Room, allowing customers to see ready-to-use whiteboard replacement and informational signage packages based on Philips’ industry leading monitor technology. The London showroom is complemented by a touring demonstration vehicle.
