America II Electronics, a global distributors of semiconductors and electronic components, has announced it closed the first quarter by adding Excel Cell Electronic, Citizen Finetech Miyota, Kingstate Electronics, ADDA, Micro-C, and Chilisin Electronics to its global line card.

This marks a strong quarter for the distributor’s supply chain development efforts, and the company is on pace to reach its goal of 100 new franchise lines this year. Servicing an array of industries including automotive, telecommunications, home automation, medical and lighting, these partnerships enable America II to offer more comprehensive solutions to the market. Furthermore, smaller OEMs now have the opportunity to capitalise on trends such as the Internet of Things (IoT).

“The expansion of our franchise capabilities has been a focal point for us this year,” said Brian Ellison, president at America II Electronics. “And this aggressive expansion is expected to continue as we see widespread customer support in our new lines. America II is providing the reliability that scheduled business requires, while continuing to offer our world-class value-added services.”

With four billion components in stock at their St. Petersburg, Florida distribution facility, America II Electronics has one of the largest inventories in the industry. The company offers the most complete range of products, from active, passive and electromechanical components to memory and specialty products. As a global distributor with a wide breadth of offerings, America II supplies components for virtually any application including automotive, personal computing, white goods, industrial, military, lighting, wireless, telecommunications, medical, consumer electronics, IoT, and more.
