MMS Electronic releases a new 7” Intelligent TFT graphic display, EA eDIPTFT70-ATP. With an LED backlit 800 x 480 pixel resolution touch screen display, built-in intelligence and innovative user-friendly features. It provides the ideal platform for development of interactive controls. For example, a virtual keyboard can be generated on the screen with just a few simple commands. The display can also provide acoustic feedback into an 8 ohm speaker. Sounds ranging from simple clicks, notes or jingles acting as warning or status messages.
Simple commands offer an abundance of clever graphics functions for displaying bargraphs, frames and switches. Eight predefined fonts are provided and other TrueType fonts can be imported. The onboard 4MB memory stores images, animations and macros. Text can be mixed with graphics, pictures and gif animations. There are new integrated analogue rotary and pointer instruments commands. The unit features two analogue inputs in addition to 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs.
The eDIPTFT70-ATP features wide connectivity with 5V serial, I2C and SPI interfaces on-board. There is also a 3.2” and 4.3” versions in the eDIPTFT range. All supported by Evaluation kits.
