The PICO-IMX8M SOM (System on Module) is based on NXP i.MX8M dual, QuadLite and Quad processors and Cortex®-A53+M4 architectures which makes it ideal for everything from multimedia to low-cost IoT devices.
The PICO-IMX8M delivers industry leading video, voice and audio processing capabilities with its 4K Ultra HD Video performance and HDR pro-audio fidelity. It supports the newest high-speed interfaces for flexible connectivity and is also optimised for fanless operation, offers low thermal system cost and has long battery life.
At only 36mm x 40mm, the SOM I designed to support a wide range of signals, It combines ARM® Cortex® architectures including an Intel Edison connector standard and, with its ultra-compact size, is perfect for mobile applications.
Development Kits are also available which contain source codes, design guides in fact everything necessary to speed up and reduce the cost of development for embedded devices.
